Business Women: Entrepreneurial Winning Women Contest Deadline Approaches

      For all you all-star women business owners out there, and we know there are a lot of you, remember June 30. That’s the deadline to enter the Ernst & Young Entrepreneurial Winning Women Competition, and the chance to receive all the fame, accolades and fortune that comes from being named one of the 10 winners. Here’s the info from a Ernst & Young press release:

      “We want to help women entrepreneurs scale their companies by providing them with one-to-one business advice and ‘insider access’ to Ernst & Young’s unparalleled networks of established entrepreneurs, high-growth company CEOs, investors and advisors,” said Maria Pinelli, Americas Director, Strategic Growth Markets, at Ernst & Young LLP. “This includes the opportunity for the Entrepreneurial Winning Women to position themselves and their companies in front of more than 1,700 top business leaders at the Ernst & Young Strategic Growth Forum.”

      Winners will:

      • Join an elite network of the country’s best high-growth companies and entrepreneurs including winners of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year® competition, celebrating its 25th year.
      • On a complimentary basis, attend the Ernst & Young Strategic Growth Forum 2011, the country’s most prestigious gathering of high-growth companies, November 9-13, in Palm Springs, CA.
      • Participate in a customized program designed to accelerate and sustain business growth, which includes identifying prospective sources of private capital, as well as potential partners, strategic alliances, customers and suppliers. In addition, winners receive access to informal one-to-one guidance and support, national and regional visibility for themselves and their companies, and opportunities to strengthen their executive leadership and business skills through meetings with senior advisers and seasoned entrepreneurs.

      Applicants are women CEOs who have founded their companies within the last 10 years and have achieved at least $1 million in revenue in each of the past two.

      The Entrepreneurial Winning Women program is conducted in collaboration with the Women Presidents’ Organization, Women’s Business Enterprise National Council, the Committee of 200, National Association of Women Business Owners and Babson College.
