You’ll need all the usual documents one would need to qualify for a business checking account, such as:

  • Your business’s Employer Identification (EIN) number
  • Basic contact information for your business
  • Any relevant registration certificates, business licenses and articles of incorporation
  • The business owner’s personal identification

Yes. At this time, your business must be based in the United States to open a Lendio business checking account.

Your funds will be securely stored in a digital-deposit account. Lendio’s banking services are provided by Thread—a fully compliant, FDIC-insured bank.

Absolutely. Your checking account funds are insured up to the $250,000 FDIC limit. Read more about FDIC insurance.

After you open your Lendio business checking account, we’ll begin processing your Lendio Visa® Debit Card, issued by Thread. We will mail it out within two days of opening your new Checking Account, but it can take 5-10 days for your card to arrive at your address. If for any reason you don’t receive your card within 2 weeks of opening your account, contact Lendio at [email protected].

You can make no-fee withdrawals at any of the 40,000+ Allpoint ATMs within the US.

A Lendio business checking account has no monthly fees. No transaction fees. No minimum balance fees. No overdraft fees. And you’ll have no ATM fees if you use an ATM machine within the Allpoint ATM Network. However, you will be charged a $2.50 fee for using an ATM machine or making an over-the-counter withdrawal outside of the Allpoint ATM network.

Also please keep in mind that some third-party services like those used for wire transfers and out-of-network ATMs may charge their own fees to your Lendio business checking account.
