Being brand new to small business ownership doesn’t mean you won’t qualify for a loan. There are plenty of options for startups, including short term loans, SBA loans, equipment financing, lines of credit, business credit cards, and more. And most of these options are flexible enough to be used for just about any small business need.
Applying for your startup loan is easy. All you need to do is take about 15 minutes to fill out our online application and answer questions about yourself and your startup. Since your business won’t have much history for the lender to look at, factors like your personal credit score and business experience will be used to determine whether you qualify for a loan.
To qualify for a startup loan, you typically need to be in business for at least 6 months and have a credit score of 680 or higher. Most lenders will also want to see that you have experience in a field that’s related to your small business. And some lenders may require you to secure your loan with collateral – this can include assets such as a car or house.
Remember, every great company was once a startup. There’s only room to grow from here, and we’ll help you along the way.
Our goal is to help small business owners have all the tools and knowledge possible about loans. We've connected to hundreds of banks to keep you up to date with the best loan offers and options for your business!
